Today, Tuesday, March 12th, marks the inauguration of the second edition of the major annual event for the hospitality and restaurant sector in Menorca.
The top representatives from the island’s institutions are attending the inauguration, anticipating the consolidation edition of HORECA Baleares Menorca as the prime showcase for a key sector in the islands. Its timing makes it a strategic event for the industry.
Over three intense days, participating stands will showcase the latest innovations in food, machinery, and services in an increasingly dynamic and essential sector for our community’s economic activity.
This year, the exhibition area hosts more than 40 companies distributing food, machinery, services, and training tailored to industry professionals. From March 12th to 14th, at the POIMA fairground, hospitality professionals can enjoy a range of activities including showcookings, demonstrations, and contests on the Horeca Baleares Menorca stage.
The figures from the 2023 edition of HORECA Baleares Menorca underline the importance of an event that brought together 3,000 professional visitors and 300 brands across 2000 square meters of exhibition space.
HORECA Baleares Menorca offers three days packed with activities, both in the exhibition spaces and on its stage, featuring a wide variety of conferences, tributes, awards, and, of course, our renowned competitions, highlighting chefs’ creativity and skills. The competitions, “Cuina amb peix popular” sponsored by the Department of Agriculture, Fishing, and Natural Environment, “Best Gourmet Pizza” sponsored by 5 Stagioni, and “Best Gourmet Sandwich” sponsored by Corgelat, Hellman’s, and Vandemoortele, all in their second edition following last year’s success and high level.
HORECA Baleares Menorca features a lengthy list of culinary personalities who will share their latest projects and unique culinary visions with attendees. Javier Hoebeeck, Jaume Vicens Cifre, Kike Bayano, José María Borras, Jordi Canto, Stefano Cossignani, and many others will take the stage over these three days, sharing both their projects and professional secrets that have made them highly acclaimed in the culinary world.
